Earth4All at the Green & Blue Festival, Italy

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming edition of the Green&Blue Festival, coinciding with World Environment Day on 5 June, 2023. With events scheduled on 5 June in Rome and from 6 to 8 June in Milan, the festival brings together the biggest Italian and international players who are united in their commitment to urgently combat climate change.

As the most significant national event for the environment, the festival will be held over four days in unique locations: among others, just steps away from the Colosseum in Rome, and in Milan, by the BAM – the Library of Trees. The festival aims to not only highlight the urgent need to tackle climate change but also emphasize the immense opportunities presented by the necessary transformation. The festival will feature a lineup of distinguished guests, engaging talks, and music performances to foster an atmosphere of collaboration, inspiration, and celebration.

On the evening of 5 June, Earth for All co-authors Sandrine Dixson-Declève and Per Espen Stoknes will kick-off the festival with a thought-provoking opening address on Earth4All’s key messages.

Activists Ineza Umuhoza Grace, Licypriya Kangujam, Maya Gabeira and Sophia Kianni will also speak during the festival’s opening evening.

In addition, there will be the participation of the Italian Minister of Environment and Energy Security (Pichetto Fratin), and mayors from Bologna, Bergamo, Torino, Genova, Rome, Accra, Tel Haviv and Colombo.

Finally, there will be concerts of first-class italian music artists: Tommaso Paradiso, Levante and Coma_Cose.
