Confidentiality

Personal data acquired through Earth4All is processed and controlled solely by the Club of Rome. Your data are treated confidentially. This means that we will not sell or disclose your personal data to third parties. Our employees, partner organisations, and third parties whose services we engage, are under an obligation to respect the confidentiality of personal data.

Personal data

There are a number of areas on our website where you may provide personal data to Earth4All, including when you:

  • register for Earth4All email updates

  • support Earth4All by “getting involved”.

  • register to be involved in our campaigns

The information we collect will depend on the nature of your action but may include name, email address, telephone number, country and language preference.

In the case of a petition action, in no instance will we use your data for any purpose besides sending your name to the government or company we are targeting in the campaign. The campaign target will receive your name and your email address. This makes it possible for the campaign target to send you a reply, if applicable.

Your data and social media

When using our site, you have the ability to link through to certain social media sites such as Facebook, Youtube, Instagram or Twitter. Depending on your settings, and the privacy policies of these social media and messaging services, we may receive or match your personal data with these sites to show Earth4All content while these services are being used. To change your settings on these services, please refer to their privacy notices, which will tell you how to do this.

This consent can be withdrawn any time by sending an email to info@clubofrome.org.
